Please do not bring dogs or leave them in your car. This working farm has working livestock guardian dogs. otto, buck and pearl are very friendly to people of all ages. They DO NOT TOLERATE other dogs near their livestock. this includes dogs left in your car.

When you get to Gidney Road, go PAST the last house! After that house, the road curves up and to the left and becomes our driveway. There is a round, white “Little White Goat Dairy” sign at the bottom of the driveway.

From Route 2:

Take Exit 67 (new number, formerly exit 14)). and follow signs to Lake Mattawa. At the 4-way intersection at the lake, turn right and go up Chestnut Hill.  At the top, turn right onto Gidney Rd. Drive 1 mile on this dirt road - GO PAST THE LAST HOUSE! The road will curve up and to the left, becoming our driveway. Park in front of the barn. Enter the farm store at the rear of the barn, on the left side if you are facing the barn.

From Amherst area on Route 202:

Take Rt 202 North about 12 miles, after you pass the New Salem General Store follow 202 down a long hill; turn left on to Elm Street where you will see signs for Lake Mattawa and The New Salem Historical Society. Follow to the lake, the road will change name to Holtshire Rd. Drive to the 4-way intersection at the far end of the lake. Turn Left, up Chestnut Hill.  At the top, turn right onto Gidney Rd. Drive 1 mile on this dirt road - GO PAST THE LAST HOUSE! The road will curve up and to the left, becoming our driveway. Park in front of the barn. Enter the farm store at the rear of the barn, on the left side if you are facing the barn.

Children (and adults, of course)  are welcome to visit with the goats when accompanied by a farmer if we are available. The net fences are electrified, don't touch or reach over them!
